Privacy Policy for Better Camera

Better Camera is designed to respect your privacy. We don't collect, store, or share any of your personal information.

Information we don't collect

Better Camera has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app doesn't send any data off your device. We never see your photos, videos, or audio.

Permissions

The app asks for these permissions only so its features can work:

• Camera: To take photos and record video.
• Microphone: To record audio with your videos. You can turn this off and still record video.
• Photo Library (add only): To save your photos and videos to your library. The app can't read, view, or change anything already in your library.

You can change these permissions anytime in Settings › Better Camera.

Data stored on your device

Your camera preferences, such as grid, resolution, frame rate, codec, and audio input, are stored only on your device so they stay the same between sessions. Deleting the app removes them.

Your photos and videos

Everything you capture is saved straight to your device's Photos library. Apple's Photos app and iCloud settings control it from there, under Apple's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Better Camera collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
